Wedding reception music
Live music can create a warm welcome while you’re taking photographs and your guests are getting to know each other. Ask for a relaxed background set for your drinks reception, with the sound and positioning agreed around your venue.
Our repertoire brings Brazilian songs such as Mais Que Nada together with pop favourites including Shape of You, Crazy in Love and Don’t Stop Me Now. Tell us which styles you love and we’ll suggest a suitable set.

Roaming & party sets
A roaming wedding band can bring the performance among your guests or accompany a planned entrance. We’ll discuss the route, room, access and timings with you before agreeing how it works.
For a livelier part of the day, choose a focused party set built around brass, tuba and drums. You can combine a relaxed reception set with an upbeat set later; the final schedule is agreed in your quote.
For outdoor performances, we’ll agree a suitable weather backup with you and your venue.
Wedding band line-ups & prices
The four-piece is trumpet, alto sax, tuba and drums. Add trombone for the five-piece, or a second trumpet for the six-piece. The right choice depends on your space, preferred sound and budget.

Can you play quietly while guests talk?
Yes, we regularly play background music for receptions. Tell us the room size, guest numbers and any venue sound limits, so we can discuss a suitable line-up, position and performance style.
How long does the band play?
Our guide packages are one 60-minute performance or two 45-minute sets. Share your running order and we’ll agree the set times and any gap between performances before you book.
Can we request a particular wedding song?
Send us the song and tell us how you would like to use it. We’ll confirm whether an arrangement is possible, how much notice is needed and any additional cost. A request is confirmed only when we’ve agreed it with you.
Do you play weddings outside London?
Yes. Rio Brass is based in London and travels across the UK and internationally. Send your venue or postcode so we can check availability, travel and the full cost for your date.
What does the venue need to know?
We’ll discuss performance space, access, set times, sound restrictions and whether the music is indoors or outdoors. Roaming and a fixed performance need different arrangements. We’ll agree the setup and any sound equipment with you and your venue.
How do we book Rio Brass for our wedding?
Send your date, venue or town, approximate guest count and the part of the day you’d like music for. Gabriel will check availability and discuss a tailored quote. Your booking is confirmed once the agreement and deposit arrangements are completed. If an agency introduced you to the band, continue with your agent.
